About African Dream Academy (ADA):
Located in Liberia, one of the poorest countries in the world, ADA is the only tuition-free independent
school in the country. (Public schools are not free and are only in session for a half-day.) Besides an
education including science and computer labs (unheard of in most Liberian schools), ADA provides a
free hot lunch, transportation, and uniforms. There are two campuses: one for the early childhood and
lower schools and the other for the high school. ADA also has a vocational school for parents and an
affiliated pediatric health clinic.

About FPC Mission Trip:
Participants will assist teachers in classrooms. They could work in early childhood, elementary or high
school classrooms, helping in subjects of interest to them. High school students could also sit in on
classes they are taking, noting the cultural differences. Visits will also be made to the pediatric health
clinic, some homes, and to a church on Easter Sunday for a memorable service. Everyone who has
visited ADA has called it a life-changing experience. The children have so little but are so full of joy-
inspirational!
